But I'ma keep my promise and talk about MIA.

<-------BREE, ME, & KAT (my attempt at a self group portrait) Let's see Friday.....got there in the afternoon...And i had a headache....so while they were at the pool, I went to sleep. I slept until 8 pm. When i woke up they were already out the shower and just about dressed. So I hurry up and get ready. We went to eat.....then attempted to go to Mansion, but the line was too long. Them club workers be on they grind...they try to get the pretty ladies in, offer free drinks and no cover, hoping the men will follow. But you know how the free drinks go, you get the liquor up under the bar, lol.. Since we had already walked several blocks, we were no mood to wait in line...we headed over to Sobe Live....it was dead when we got in there but it eventually filled up.... This is us before it got crowed....a kind gentleman took it for us. Yes we got legs and we know how to use them

After the club, the girls decide it would be a good idea to get in the hotel pool. Why do drunk ppl want to get in water, lol.....I put on my bathing suit, but didn't get in the water. I jsut watched them.

Saturday....did some one say shopping. We walked the strip and mostly window shopped, I dont remember anyone buying anything (keep in mind this trip was over a month ago.) Oh wait, I bought a watch. I went in the store looking for a chain and left out with a watch. LOL. Finally got back to the room, ate...and our old asses fell asleep. Well actually when I got out the shower they were both sleep. So I said fuck it, if you can't beat them join them.

Back to the hotel, then off to Mango's to eat....you know them bastards charged a cover to get in there....all we wanted to do was eat. Had some entertainment...then off to Wet Willies for some slushy drinks....

And of course I couldn't leave MIA, without taking my pic in front of the Versace house.

A very relaxing July 4th weekend. Ok I had more pics, to post...but i guess i reached my blogger limit....*rolls eyes*

I've been really slackin on my bloggin

But I've been busy. I'm about to head out to Lansing on Sunday. I'll be there for about 2 weeks. The 2nd to the last work trip. I'm gonna try to go to Canada while I'm out there.

So I still owe yall, a MIA recap and the Sexy MEME....I'ma get to it

Dat nicca called me yesterday. He wants to TALK. DA HELL DO WE HAVE TO TALK ABOUT. But because my life is boring, and i need something to talk about, I've agreed to meet up with him for dinner this weekend. I hope he knows I aint paying. AND no he aint bring that money last Thurs.

Last nite went to the Stonefish at the Cap center. I wasn't supposed to stay long, but the crowd was nice. The music was great. Lot of old school. We were all singin at the top of our lungs.....Well except Brina, every now again she would lean over to me and say: "You know this song?" LOL, bless her soul, she can't help her mama was Korean and was not playing this stuff in the house while she was growing up.

I's so proud of myself . I was very good. I sat at the bar for 4 hours...and did NOT DRINK A SIP OF ALCOHOL. I even passed up 2 FREE DRINKS. Anyone who knows me know i dont pass up alcohol much less FREE alcohol. LOL. BK would be so proud. There were a couple guys at the bar turning 40, 1 in there crew was a white boy. Man he was funny. White ppl are so fun drunk. They spend money like water on complete strangers....he tucked a $20 down the front of my shirt. I tucked it back in his pocket.

But at the end of the nite, for some reason I recreated the tip drill video in the parking lot. I was dropping it like it was HOT. Can I remind yall I was not drinking. I guess I was just high off life. Lets just say, I had about $30 by the time I got in my car. Not bad for 5 mins. work. LOL And stop judging me, I do what I want. :P.

OK, this is the table i picked. I put it together all by myself. :) Who needs a man. I'm very pleased with the purchase. The marble, glass, and iron legs were nice and heavy. As you see, I havent hung all the accesories yet, I just placed them on the table.

Next we have, me in MIA....yeah i know its dark (not dark any more, thanks tbear), i took it with my cam phone, that's the best the flash could do. Behind me is the fountain we had in front of our hotel. The Royal Palm (on 15th and Collins i think). Very nice hotel.

Dat Nicca called me out the blue on Tues. to say he will have my money on Thurs.
****Backdrop: Sometime in April he asked for some money so he could put gas in his car. Now I didnt talk about this because, I didn't wanna be judged for giving him the $60. He claimed he would give me $100 within the next few days. I gave it to him not expecting it back, and knowing he would not call me after receipt. I was right I didn't hear from him until Tues. His call was a shock to me, cause I never attempted to ask him for this money. And it was the first thing out his mouth. Not even a hello, just "I'll have your money on Thurs." Me: "ummm ok"***Well Its Thurs. I guess, we'll see if this is yet another lie.

Last nite I applied to take the Audit part of the CPA exam again. No need to beat around the bush. Time to get my study on again. I was real close, so I should make it this time. :)

I'll be flying out to MI on 7/23/06 for another work assignment.

Metro needs to get they shit together. They've had the elevator out to the parking garage for the last 3 days. So I've had to walk up 6 flights of stairs for the last 3 afternoons. I rest on 4, then finish, get to the top all winded. Its too damn hot in that stairwell, someone gonna pass out. I know BK its a good thing to walk the stairs.

I'm so behinid in my blog reading. I'll get on the ball, but probably won't comment cause I know yall aint going back 2-3 posts reading comments, like I do. Yeah I see all the additional comments that come in, I just dont respond cause I know noone will see them.

We having a cookout this weekend, that I can't enjoy cause I'm dieting. *Booooooooooooooo* The cookout is to celebrate Steve and Sarge's (Bree's ex and dad, who passed away) Bday's. She's been setting this up every year since they passed to get family and friends together and reminence. Dat nicca was invited, since Steve was his cousin. But we doubt he'll show.
